About Me

I consider myself heathen at core although I have studied in-depth many other paths. I am not religious at all, my family line has seen enough war and violence over the generations to kill any religion but I do believe in folk and the way of life they hold dear. I do not however consider myself Asatru or belong to any of the ego led politics so prevalent within such organizations today, a far cry from the original ideas of Svenbjorn Beinteinsson's and his Ásatrúarfélag, the Icelandic heathen organization. I am not a neo-pagan nor do I regard myself as folkish as this has attracted so many undesirable elements best kept out of our tradition. Most of my friends are women whom I share intellectual discussions with and frith. My men friends tend in general to be ex-military combatants types or those who live with a warrior based ethos. I am extremely loyal to kin and kindred, especially those I consider my extended family.

About Me

Hello! I'm a freelance writer with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in theology. I'm interested in ancient religion, paranormal phenomena, and occult knowledge. I read taror cards and interpret dreams. I like ancient languages. ( I've studied Latin since high school and ancient Greek at the University of Massachusetts.)

Learning the value of individuality, knowing our purpose in life, really employing our calling, and caring for oneself and others bring us real happiness and unleash our psychic potential. Much of the beauty of existence goes unnoticed. We ignore untapped energy. We should value and seek knowledge and employ our creative nature.

We live in a materialistic society dominated by commercial interests, and it is hard to develop our true individuality, and express ourselves fully. But various meditations and psychic practices enlighten us and center us in the creative universe. I'm delighted to be a member of Natasha Sheldon's group and look forward to our correspondence.

Please feel welcome to visit the Tarot Forum and participate in forum discussions at www.tarotforum.webs.com.  You'll find interesting reading and exercises to promote free thought and self-realization. Our purpose is to build a friendly commmunity of gifted persons. -- Stephen Contrado, B.A., Th.M.
